On May 15, 2021, a very special online event – LOVEx30 – celebrated 30 years of making a difference in the lives of young people. We lit up the night with a celebration that lifted hearts and minds.

Since this will be the first time in over a year that many of our students have had in-person instruction, we are prioritizing programs that support social and emotional health and wellbeing, providing young people with the targeted support they need to begin to thrive again.
Language in Action Raises Awareness with Spoken Word, Poetry, and Song
This past year, English-language learners improved their language skills while learning about community issues. Students from each campus chose one specific issue to focus on, resulting in a creative presentation designed to raise community awareness.
A series of virtual celebrations, held by Beyond the Bell during the last week of May 2021, gave these enterprising students a showcase to present their work to fellow students from different campuses.
